The building was built in 1904. The County purchased the building for the Moose in the late 1980s for the purpose of housing District Court. The building was named the Rasumssen building after commission Alvon Rasumssen Remodeling and moving of District Court was completed in 1989. Prier to the purchase of the building some of the occupies were the Moose, operators for the phone company, beauty salon, law firm and a print shop. Recently Circuit Court Probation was moved to the basement of the building.
