Raise the Roof

The County of Ionia is in the process of finalizing plans for the construction of a new animal shelter facility, with a planned groundbreaking in the fall of 2009. Raise the Roof is the collaborative effort of a group of concerned citizens who have a desire to see the construction of a new animal shelter in Ionia County. Working in cooperation with the County, many fundraising events and activities have been planned. The Raise the Roof Committee meets on a regular monthly basis. Membership is free and everyone is welcome.
