James Valentine - Director, Ionia County Central Dispatch

Jim is a recent addition to Ionia Central. He comes to us from Lowell, MI where he served as the Chief of Police for 14 years.  Jim has 34 years Law Enforcement Experience and 14 managing a Dispatch Center.

Zenon Cardenas, Jr.  -  Supervisor for Technical Services

Zenon joined Central Dispatch in 1998 and has served as a dispatcher, supervisor for technical services and Interim Director.  Zenon is responsible for all matters relating to technology in the center.  Zenon was selected as dispatcher of the year in 1999.

Nancy Rodriguez - Administrative Assistant

Nancy joined Central Dispatch in 2000 and serves as the principal contact for office management.  Nancy has 30 years in the public service field.  Nancy was selected as Employee of the Year in 2006.

Vicki Denny - Operations Supervisor

Vicki joined Central Dispatch in 1992, and has served as a dispatcher, supervisor and deputy director.  Vicki is responsible for all operations relating to dispatchers.  Vicki was seleced as Employee of the Year in 2003.

Kevin Booth

Kevin joined Central Dispatch in 2004 and has served as a dispatcher to present.  Kevin was selected as Dispatcher of the Year in 2005.

Kevin Heinlein

Kevin joined Central Dispatch in 2007 and has served as a dispatcher to present.  Kevin is also a certified public safety officer for the city of Ionia.

Kathy Heydenburk

Kathy joined Central Dispatch in 1998 and has served as a dispatcher to present.  Kathy is a Certified Training Officer (CTO) for the center.

 Becky Hoeve

Becky joined Central Dispatch in 1994 and has served as a dispatcher to present.  Becky is a Certified Training Officer for the center, and has been selected as a Dispatcher of the Year in 1996 and 2001.

Amanda Johnson

Amanda joined Central Dispatch in 2000 and serves as a dispatcher to present.  Amanda was selected as a Dispatcher of the Year in 2004.

 Jim Knopf

Jim joined Central Dispatch in 1994, left for a short period to be a supervisor for Clinton County 911.  Jim returned in 2004 and serves as a dispatcher for the county.

Patsy Kohagen

Patsy joined Central Dispatch in 1992 and has served as a dispatcher to present.  Patsy was selected as Dispatcher of the Year in 2000.

Katy Krantz

Katy joined Central Dispatch in 2004 and serves as a dispatcher to present.  Katy is a Certified Training Officer and was selected as the first recipient of the William L. Charon Award.

Greg Main Jr.

Greg is our newest addition to the Dispatch Team, and is a welcome addition.  Greg is a second generation dispatcher and looks forward to serving the community.

Steve VanHolstyn

Steve joined Central Dispatch in 2005 and serves as a dispatcher to present.  Steve is active in the fire department, and SERT activities in Montcalm County.
