Statement

Our services enhance the quality of life for our area senior citizens and assist family members and friends in caring for those individuals.

It is the overall purpose of the Ionia County Commission on Aging to provide needed services and information for those individuals sixty years and older within our geographical service area. Donations are gratefully accepted for all programs. This allows us to carry on with needed services that funding does not cover. Furthermore, it is the purpose of our programs to strengthen this age group's general well-being and to be a cornerstone of support for our older adult population's continued independence.

It must be understood that we are not designed to be a total care program. Because of our limited resources, we can only provide specific specialized services that can be utilized within the total care-giving support system.
