The national threat advisory system is a uniform scale providing guidance to federal agencies for terrorism alerts and when coordinated with state government and local communities will improve the overall homeland security and emergency management system around the nation.

This site is used to register, notify, and inform individuals who are interested in volunteering in the event of a natural or public emergency. This site can also be used to register and notify the food industry in the event of an emergency to ongoing imminent health hazards.
